As of July 2021, Microsoft Dynamic RMS (Retail Management System) has reached it’s end of life date. Many RMS users are confused as to what this means for their business and what’s coming next from Microsoft.
Since RMS has reached its end of life, you will not be able to purchase any new licenses. This might not be an problem for some stores, but in the case of new or expanding stores this will be an issue. The end of life date also means Microsoft will no longer release updates for RMS.
